• Biography Period
• Expand the existing 6^th grade biography project
• Black History Month
• Art Project to integrate with other curriculum
• 6^th grade work with the 4^th grade
• Alternate assignment for excused absences from Physical Education
• Tie to current events such as:
  • NASA launch conduct a unit on Amelia and Bessie as pioneers of flight
  • Elections to talk about the suffrage movement and the way many women supported it, including Mary Cassatt, Harriet Tubman and Amelia Earhart

• Wall of Fame posters
• Online biographies for Girls Explore Website or school website with template
• Create a Trivial Pursuit type game
• Who am I game? Could be with name on the back or as a general guessing game
